Collaboratively leveraging members’ relationships and experience to invest in unique member driven deal flow.
About Collaborative Capital
Collaborative Capital ("CCAP") is a network of 50+ family offices and high net worth individuals active in all investment stages and multiple industries across the US. CCAP is the bedrock upon which the Collaborative Capital Opportunity Fund ("CCAP Fund") has been created.
CCAP members drive deal flow. The CCAP group represents broad areas of expertise and members pre-qualify investment opportunities.
What we do
The premier source of long-term capital for entrepreneurs
CCAP Fund leverages its connections with high net worth individuals and family offices to source investment opportunities which support founders and entrepreneurs operating growth oriented businesses. Unlike typical venture/private equity funds, our fund takes a hybrid longer view with its investment strategy.
Why Collaborative Capital Opportunity Fund
01
Focus on Family Offices
Because the CCAP organization is made up of family offices and high net worth individuals, many of its members are also investors in the Fund. The CCAP organization is expanding with the launch of a new CCAP chapter in St. Louis in March 2023 with discussions in other parts of the mid-west for additional expansion. With the popularity of the CCAP model, there is a symbiotic relationship between members looking for quality investments and a fund that provides Hybrid Venture opportunities.
02
Hybrid Venture Fund
The CCAP Fund is designed to invest in deals with early-stage, high growth valuations, but no “start-up” investments. The Fund is not seeking need a short-term exits, which are often required by traditional venture funds. The CCAP Fund invests with a “Hybrid Venture” approach with a longer term outlook which is more customary with family office investments.
03
Unique Access to Opportunities
The “secret sauce” of the CCAP organization is its member-led deal flow. If an investment opportunity from one of the members is being offered to the group, then there is a level of confidence that the deal has someone behind it who is knowledgeable and committed. This component is what has made CCAP attractive to its members and which has resulted in a unique deal flow for the Fund. This unique access is not market specific but it is originated from successful and well-informed current investors who are willing to recommend their deals and have already done their diligence prior to introducing investments.
04
Non-Institutional
The CCAP Fund does not follow an institutional approach to investment selection. The Fund relies upon the expertise of its CCAP members for the deals being considered. For example, one of our members is the former CEO of one of the largest commercial construction companies in the U.S. another is the Former President of one of the largest telecom companies in the U.S. and a third is the head of a family operating one of the largest insurance brokerages in the U.S. If the Fund is looking at an investment in one of these industries, the Fund Management team can tap into this knowledge and experience; it is an advisory resource that funds of similar sizes do not typically possess.
